The financial services sector is experiencing increasing competition from start-ups which are gradually covering individual revenue-generating business lines. In this context, banks and insurance companies are also the focus of FINTECH companies which are designing B2B solutions, able to enhance customer satisfaction, increase regulatory compliance and revenue sources and reduce risks and/or overall costs.
This chapter aims to cover and illustrate solutions specifically targeted to banks and insurance companies. The discussed solutions can either be directly purchased or licensed by financial services players or used within a collaboration model. Finally, the topic around open bank API can also form part of this chapter so as to introduce the opportunities that may emerge from this trend

- Write an initial 300 word paragraph before the 30 April 2015. Introduce what you wish to explore and why it matters, remember to make it catchy! Also add a quick 50 words about you.
- Your teaser article will be shared with the community in May 2015. They will have a chance to vote on your content.
- If you are selected by the community the editors will contact you and request that you write a 2,000 words article which will form part of the “Financial Services Solutions” chapter.
- If you are not selected by the community, the editors will none the less acknowledge your contribution in a special chapter which will list all the authors, the contact details and the category in which they wrote.
