Unlike other start-up sectors, the FINTECH sector has the potential to create a paradigm shift in the way finance impacts people. Since 2007 many have understood that finance is needed by all but only benefits a select few. Today, the FinTech sector is gradually empowering individuals and communities by providing them with better financial products and services.
The FINTECH Book is therefore dedicating a chapter to the intersection between FINTECH and Social impact. Contributors are welcome to share how their specific solution has had a social impact. This topic is not restricted to the developing world and financial inclusion services but also extends to the developed world (e.g. benefits of P2P in red-tape areas for bank lending).
Submission Process:
If you wish contribute the “Social Impact” chapter of the FINTECH book, please follow these steps:

- Your teaser article will be shared with the community in May 2015. They will have a chance to vote on your content.
- If you are selected by the community the editors will contact you and request that you write a 2,000 words article which will form part of the “Social Impact” chapter.
