Valentin is a law-trained tech entrepreneur with a passion for solving real problems that affect real, everyday people in very significant ways. Valentin graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in International Economics and then attended Northwestern Law School. After law school, he worked with a well-known Chicago law firm in their commercial finance group. Nearly two years into his legal practice, Valentin left the security of his law firm job to pursue his lifelong aspiration of starting and growing a business. Recalling the terrible mortgage experience he had when buying his first home, he wanted to improve the mortgage industry and co-founded MortgageHippo.
